 We're glad
you've joined us today at La Tea Da. We
want to provide a charming, intimate
space in which guests can find a warm,
relaxing respite and enjoy the finer
things: the taking of tea, sumptuous
savories and sweets, delightful gifts and
treasures, and the company of friends.
There are some very serious things you
need to know:
We're serious about service delicious,
top-quality food and the best varieties
of tea we can find. We're also serious
about giving you the time and space you
need to unwind. We want tea at La Tea Da
to provide a marvelous break in the day,
a change to reunite with friends, the
opportunity to relax, and a cozy forum to
attend to business matters, if you must!
We're not serious about much else. In
fact, here's the little secret: it's not
really about the tea. For example, you
don't have to know that before pouring
your tea through the silver strainer,
first drop in the sugar and then the
cream. And you don't have to daintily eat
with the pinky extended. While we do
recommend that you let your tea steep for
3-7 minutes, and that you be advised that
good food take time to prepare, all we
really ask you is that you take a deep
breath, turn off your mobile phone, leave
your worries at the door and enjoy
yourself.
We believe we've created a special place
along the Oregon Coast, a place that - if
the two of us weren't here already - we'd
enjoy coming to again and again! Please
